3 CEUs Available: 2 Patient Care hours, 1 Administrative hour
CEU hours available through the Missouri and Kansas Boards of Nursing Home Administrators. Kansas will provide CEUs for Kansas providers who are Administrators, Adult Care Home Operators, and Nurses. All attendees will receive a certificate of participation.

2 to 3 p.m. | Using 5 Star and Quality Measure Reports to Guide Facility Improvement
Mark Francis, MS, LNHA, QIPMO (Quality Improvement Program for Missouri) will present an overview of the CMS 5 Star and Quality Measure reports and will discuss how each of these can guide healthcare facilities in improving the quality measures and quality of care for their residents.
Mark is the QIPMO leadership coach for the west and southwest region of the state. He is experienced in all aspects of long-term care leadership including building operations, financial performance, clinical outcomes, and team-building, but his primary focus is taking care of people.  

3 to 4 p.m. | How to Do More With Less by Utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Bill Wynn, PA, RRT, VP Strategic Partnerships, at VirtuSense Technologies, will examine how we can use existing and upcoming technologies, including AI, virtual nursing, and telehealth, to help mitigate cost pressures and relieve staffing stresses in today’s healthcare – and specifically post-acute care – environment. As we face challenges such as staff shortages, ever-increasing costs, and the constant need to improve quality of care, we can use all the help we can get.
Bill has an extensive background, including 35 years of experience as a healthcare executive, combining clinical practice, operations, and business development and has operated in start-up and large corporate environments. 

4 to 5 p.m. | Emerging Trends in Senior Living
Anthony Columbatto, Vice President of Health and Community Services, John Knox Village, will explore what the post-COVID-19 world currently looks like for senior living providers, as well as challenges and opportunities on the horizon. He’ll touch on emerging macro trends impacting the senior living industry; mergers, acquisitions, and innovative strategic partnerships; and strategies to enhance quality, service, and outcomes for senior living residents.
Anthony is a licensed nursing home administrator in the state of Missouri, holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Missouri Baptist University, as well as a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Lindenwood University.
