VILLAGE HOME HEALTH

FREE pulse and blood oxygen level screening. Learn about their skilled nursing and therapy care, plus the many specialized programs and services for Village residents and patients in 12 Missouri and Kansas counties. These include care for congestive heart failure (CHF), COPD, diabetes, incontinence management, cognitive therapy, and movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease.

FITNESS CENTERS

FREE VirtuSense Balance assessments. Whether it’s your first time, or you’re ready for a 6-month re-screening, this fall risk evaluation tool helps assess your balance, movement, and walking abilities. It also recommends actions to improve deficits and reduce your chances of being injured in a fall. Also learn about fitness classes and other resident options to achieve your personal fitness goals. VILLAGE OUTPATIENT THERAPY

This on-campus clinic offers physical, occupational and speech therapy to the public, as well as Village residents. They can help with joint and back pain; stroke recovery; hip, knee or shoulder surgery rehab; arthritis; swallowing; memory and balance issues. Plus, it is the only clinic in Eastern Jackson County providing one-on-one LSVT BIG® and LSVT LOUD® movement and speech therapy for people with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. FREE memory and grip strength screenings, plus walker and cane height adjustments.
