SPEAKER BIOS:

Mimi Rossi, Senior Vice President, Head of Senior Living Research at Ziegler, joined Ziegler’s senior living finance practice in January 2024. Her primary focus is concentrated on conducting industry research and trend analyses for educative purposes in the form of presentations, newsletters, and research publications. Mimi supports the senior living finance practice nationally by facilitating primary research projects and coordinating national, regional and statewide industry conferences. Prior to joining Ziegler, Mimi served as vice president of risk management at Caring Communities, and oversaw the integration of those services in-house while building a team of highly skilled analysts to lead the industry in aging services risk management. She also handled data research and tracked industry trends, created the Caring Communities Collaborative program (a round table of members designed to share best practices). Mimi graduated from Saint Louis University’s College of Nursing, then earned her Juris Doctor at Loyola University’s School of Law, and joined the Illinois State Bar in 2008.
Steve Howell Chief Revenue Officer and partner at Experience Fresh, a full-service marketing agency based in the beautiful and historic city of St. Louis. He is also the founder of an AI startup developing chat interfaces for more intelligent lead generation and lead management. He previously served as VP of Marketing for Aline, a leading software provider in senior living. His career spans 20 years in marketing, PR, and advertising agencies with an emphasis on digital assets and serving brands as diverse as Alaska Airlines, ExxonMobil, Triumph Motorcycles, and Alcon Pharmaceuticals. He began his long association with technology as co-founder of a company delivering the first live streaming video of wildlife to National Geographic and Discovery Online. Steve earned his bachelor’s at Missouri State and his MBA at Washington University in St. Louis. His happy place is canoeing with his wife and two golden retrievers.
Marybeth Roberts, Director of Sales, Marketing and Communications at John Knox Village, brings more than 25 years of senior living marketing expertise to her role, along with a passion for helping older adults redefine what it means to live and age remarkably. Using a unique blend of analytical rigor and creative vision, Marybeth uses data-driven decision making to develop creative and well-informed marketing plans, goals and strategies that drive and sustain occupancy growth.
