  • Social Workers are primarily making contact by phone rather than in person to check on the well-being of our patients and make sure our care teams are aware of any change in their status.
  • “We still have lots of resources we can tap into to help serve the needs of our patients and associates. We had one patient call to say she was down to 1 can of green beans and couldn’t get out to shop. We were able to bring her some food from our food pantry, and she was so grateful for the assistance.
  • Village Home Health is still operating and still providing care as normal – while following all necessary precautions.
  • For those considered at high risk, we are following our typical high risk protocols and using telehealth equipment to monitor symptoms daily.
