| I’ve lived here for five years and I’m so glad I made this choice. I could not have made a better one. I’ve met some of the most fantastic people and it’s a real community here. I am a people person, and love that I can get involved in a variety of things. I was a caregiver for my mother and never married. I was in the Village Care Center first for health reasons, and after that I decided to move into an apartment at the Village because I was confident in the type of care I would receive if I ever needed it. I love being in an apartment, and having neighbors who are always checking in on each other. There are just a number of activities and groups you can be involved in that are wonderful. I’m involved in the Red Hat group here and I volunteer through the chaplain’s office so I have several people I visit each week. I also go to the fitness center, have been on the bowling league and enjoy doing many other things.  The services and amenities at the Village are just great.
I don’t have a car, so having transportation on campus is wonderful. There is also the General Store that is close to my apartment, as well as the restaurant. And there are no worries about the future because there are health care services here for anything you could need.
