Everyone needs a break. It's human nature and necessity to want to take time for your self to regroup and attend to your needs. It's especially important to get a little downtime when you have the important job of being a full-time caregiver. On the flip side, we know how you may worry about someone else taking care of your loved one or the guilt you may feel for taking time for yourself. That's why we provide the necessary support that will give you a break from the daily routine and stress associated with caring for your loved one. Whether you need as little as an hour or two to run errands or up to five days because of an overnight commitment, we are able to meet your personal interests.
Please read the following examples to see if you could benefit from respite care.
- You feel that if you had relief of care-giving responsibilities for a
short time, you could resume or continue caring for your loved
one at home again.
- You are temporarily unable to provide care to your loved one
because of personal illness.
- You need to go out of town overnight.
