Philosophy

Located on the John Knox Village campus, The Children's Village supports and promotes the mission and values. We believe that consistently planned intergenerational activities enhance the well-being and quality of life for both the children and the residents of John Knox Village.

In addition, we believe that each child is a unique and valuable individual. We strive to provide an enriching learning environment within a safe and secure setting that meets the individual needs of our children as well as the needs of the family. We do this by providing a well-balanced and developmentally appropriate curriculum that focuses on the physical, social, cognitive and emotional needs of each child. We believe that learning should be fun and challenging and encourage growth while allowing children to develop at their own pace.
