Sometimes our loved ones with memory-related diseases need a higher level of care than they currently are receiving. That’s where Valley View Memory Care comes in. The assisted living unit provides a comfortable – yet secure – home away from home and a full range of services that have been carefully planned to provide a supportive environment for residents with Alzheimer's disease and other memory-related diseases.
Our goal is to assist our residents in realizing their highest level of function by providing socialization, recreational activities and emotional well-being. By achieving this goal, they will retain dignity, independence and a sense of belonging.

- 24-hour nursing care, supervision and support staff
- Secured entrances and monitoring systems in resident rooms

- Professional staff who received specialized Alzheimer's disease training

To be admitted to the Memory Care Unit at Valley View, residents need to meet the following criteria.
- Not have any physical or mental condition or behavior beyond the scope of Valley View Memory Care's ability to treat or manage
- Not be of harm to oneself or others
- Not require physical or chemical restraint
- Require no more than one person to physically assist the resident with any activity of daily living
- Not be bed-bound or similarly immobilized
- Be continent of bladder and bowels or must be cooperative with others to control incontinency
- Be able to feed themselves unassisted or must be capable of feeding themselves with the use of assistive devices
- Be willing and able to transfer themselves unassisted, in and out of bed and on and off the commode
- Be under the care of a physician licensed in Missouri
